Columbia College Chicago Archives serves as the designated repository for materials that retain both the institutional history of the College and the professional records of its individual members.

The Archives also exist to collect, preserve, and make available records of historical, legal, administrative, fiscal, and intrinsic value which pertain to the history and activities of the College.

The Archives comprehensively collects records of enduring value that document the history of Columbia College, its administration, programs, services, and members of its community.
